THE STORYLINE

Kia and Terrance are a happily married couple who love their daughter Kamaria dearly. From the moment they saw the ultrasound, they pledged to give her all of the tools she would need to love herself and her community despite the many obstacles their beautiful black daughter would face.  
When Kamaria is suspended from school one afternoon, we learn just how closely children listen to their parents and how much it matters that we listen to our children.
